2010

Welcome to 2010!

The outgoing decade has been enough to test the mettle of many of the most incorrigible optimists! All the more reason to pursue an attitude with altitude.

Wasn’t it just a short while ago that the seconds ticked over into the year 2000 (Y2K) and many were worried about what would happen to our individual computers or our corporate systems?

Today global financial crises, suicide bombers and flu pandemics are familiar headlines. It really has been quite a decade!

And the coming ten years do not look like they will slow down much.

While there are things to fear, complexities to deal with, and increasing pressures of all kinds, we do remain the master of our own souls. The many constraints of our own unique circumstances may not all be of our own creation. But our response in each moment is.

So how do we shape our own lives? Largely by the attitude with which we engage in each moment. And this attitude is greatly impacted by how we begin each day.

All this is to say, continue to BEGIN WELL–each new decade, each new year, each new month, each new week, and each new day.

STUCK?

But what if you’re stuck, or feel that way? If you haven’t already or would like to be reminded again, don’t forget to review the video tutorial: “The 5 Shifts in Language that will Take You from Stuck to Successful.”

Now even when we don’t fully reach ALL our stated goals, when we persist in beginning well AGAIN and AGAIN, we definitely end up in a better place than we would otherwise.

Celebrate great beginnings. Make them a habit!

Each day.

Live well in 2010.

Make your year stellar!

Karen
